Greece(GR)

The regional units of Greece are administrative subdivisions of the country. Greece is divided into 74 regional units. These regional units are part of the administrative structure and are responsible for various local governance and administrative functions.

Each regional unit is headed by a regional governor, who is appointed by the Greek government. The regional units are further divided into municipalities, which are the primary local government divisions in Greece.

This is a list of the Presidents of Greece since 1924, in order of longevity. There are currently eleven Presidents on the list and three living Presidents. The list is in descending order and is correct as of 12 February 2014. The oldest president is Michail Stasinopoulos (1903 - 2002), who died at the age of 99 years, 96 days. The oldest living president is Konstantinos Stephanopoulos. He is currently 87 years, 181 days old and has held the title of oldest living president of Greece since 31 October 2002.
